What does "acompañar" mean?

The chunk "acompañar" means "to accompany" or "to go with" someone. While the question "¿Me acompañas?" (Will you go with me?) is a common daily invitation, mastering the verb allows you to talk about who joined you in the past or who you would like to have by your side in the future.
